Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Cabana Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences at the Pool for our members and their guests. From taking orders to making drinks and delivering food and beverages, you will ensure that our customers have a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
• Take accurate food and drink orders from members
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
• Serve food and beverages to members with attention to detail and presentation
• Monitor member satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
• Prepare bills and process payments accurately
• Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pool and Cabana area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role in hospitality is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with members and co-workers in a friendly manner
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Skills:

• Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures
• Bartending skills are beneficial
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions or special dietary needs is helpful

Note:

This is a seasonal position which begins in mid-May and lasts through the beginning of September. Once employed, you may be eligible to return for future seasons, and/or may apply for a year-round role in another department. Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages in the state of North Carolina.
