As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance their dining experience. Assist in training new staff members on menu items, service techniques, and sanitation practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a strong focus on customer service skills. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude. Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety standards is beneficial. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
