Busser/Food Runner Holiday Inn Wrightsville Beach Resort Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for customer service within the food industry. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist servers by ensuring tables are properly set and ready for service. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery. Support catering events by setting up food stations and assisting with guest needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food service standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere.
