Hospitality Server Shell Island Resort 2700 North Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 Restaurant Server Basic Function To ensure that all guests have an enjoyable experience while providing high quality customer service. Responsibilities Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures Provide great customer service Clean tables and floors in dining area Count cash and make change in a fast-paced environment Polishing and rolling silverware Greeting customers Working with FOH and BOH staff to ensure food and drinks are delivered in a timely manner Perform other departmental tasks as needed Physical Job requires standing and walking for up to 8 hours at a time, as well as bending, reaching, stooping and other repetitive motions throughout shift. Ability to carry large serving trays weighing up to 40 lbs. and capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 lbs. as needed. Skills Must have good personality and exceptional work ethic Experience 16 years or older, with at least one year experience in F&B. All training will be completed on-site.
