The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and assisting with food preparation and sanitation. This role requires a passion for the culinary arts and the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently using OpenTable or similar systems. Assist in food preparation and ensure all dishes are presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms. Handle cash register transactions with precision and care. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Support team members during peak hours to maintain service flow. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary standards is a plus. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is beneficial. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player with a positive attitude who can adapt to changing situations. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
