Catering Server – UNC Chapel Hill 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 344 Ridge Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27514 UNC Chapel Hill Server The UNC Chapel Hill server is responsible for effectively assisting food and beverage services and aiding in the overall logistics of full-service events by way of set-up, clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence. Role and Responsibilities Assist with set-up and breakdown of tables, linens, chairs, etc. Assist with replenishing food on buffets, stations, along with serving appetizers. Respond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional fashion. Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies. Maintain back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for overall productivity. Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person. Work all home football games in the most exclusive areas of the stadium (must be able to work all home football games!) Work weddings and social events in the Hillsborough, Chapel- Hill, and Durham, NC. Qualifications and Education Requirements Able to work flexible schedules. Able to work in a standing position for long periods. Be able to reach and bend frequently lift up to 30lbs. Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
