Food Server The Big Creek Lodge 1068 Wilson Farm Road, Westfield, NC 27053 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the efficient operation of our food service area. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing food items, and assisting with various tasks to enhance the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Greet and assist guests with their food orders and inquiries, ensuring a positive dining experience. Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high quality and presentation. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers for efficient transaction processing. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for patrons. Experience in food preparation and knowledge of basic food safety practices. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Familiarity with sales techniques to promote menu items effectively. Experience in nightlife or nightclub settings is a plus, enhancing the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous but not required.
