Server Royall’s BBQ & Grill 128 West Main Street, Elkin, NC 28621 Pay $5/hour plus tips. No tip pool. Job Summary Hello and thank you for your interest in applying for our Restaurant Server position for Royall’s BBQ & Grill! We are a NEW restaurant opening on Main Street in Elkin NC in what was historically Royall’s Soda Shoppe. We plan on having the most delicious BBQ and a great variety of beer and wine for our guests, as well as a few old school items from the Soda Shoppe. We are excited to be here and we can’t wait to meet you! Duties Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food handling and sanitation standards. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. You will carry your own cash bank. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively assist guests in their selections. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with guest relations and providing outstanding customer service is essential. Experience in cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts. Ability to work as part of a team.
