Expo/Food Runner Chef’s Palette 3460 Ten Ten Road, Cary, NC 27518 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our close-knit team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining areas in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and complete before serving to guests. Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Uphold food safety standards during service, ensuring all dishes are handled properly. Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding guest services and enhance the overall dining experience. Skills Proficient in using POS systems for order tracking and communication. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, or culinary settings is preferred. Strong bussing skills to assist with table maintenance. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A commitment to providing high-quality guest services in a fast-paced environment.
