Lead Server-Giorgio Pizza Bar Giorgios Hospitality Group 141 Park At North Hills Street, Raleigh, NC 27609 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Server to join our upscale casual dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Lead Server, you will be responsible for overseeing the service staff, ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service while maintaining the standards of our culinary offerings. Responsibilities Lead and manage the service team to ensure efficient and high-quality service. Train new staff on menu offerings, service techniques, and customer engagement strategies. Implement upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations. Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any guest concerns. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork and excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience in a casual upscale dining environment as a server, with bartending experience is a plus. All applicants must be at least 18 (21+ if interested in bartending) years old and have the legal right to work in the United States. Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace. Strong knowledge of culinary offerings and wine pairings is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus. Excellent math skills for handling transactions and managing tips. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
