As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS system, ensuring all requests are noted correctly. Serve food and beverages promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations, to provide a pleasant environment for guests. Assist with food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines within the food industry. Handle cash and process payments efficiently while providing receipts to customers. Stay knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively assist guests with their selections. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a busy environment. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous; training will be provided for those unfamiliar. Ability to handle food safely according to health regulations; food handling certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 25 pounds as necessary.
