$16 to $25 an hour gratuity employment type: experience level: mid level job title: Server runner In search of a Food Runner/Server for fine dining BYOB French Restaurant. Very good compensation. Great work environment. Responsibilities would include (but not limited to)

• Arriving on time and hygienic with a clean pressed uniform
• Having all elements of your uniform
• Side work preparing and organizing for the shift
• Detailing tables before service
• Polishing silver, glass and plateware
• Knowing everything about the menu
• Memorizing floor plan
• Table numbers and seat numbers
• Delivering the appropriate silverware before the course arrives
• Marking the table
• Delivering plates to the clients
• Following the direction of the Mtr d and/or Captain
• Possibly taking orders
• Side work cleaning and organizing to close The best candidates would be available ALL Fridays and Saturdays.

Willing to be on call for Sundays and days that we have events/parties. At least 1 non paid working interview and 1 paid training day( $16 an hour) would most likely be required. This is a position that is paid out of a pooled gratuity system. Usually well above minimum wage and sometimes above $20 an hour. Experienced and quick learning staff members can move to a much higher rate if able to execute at a steady professional pace. The best candidate would be able to work a schedule that would not require time off in the near future. We provide at least 1 staff meal per day Very good opportunity for growth whether you are a hospitality veteran or someone who needs income while going to school.
