Server Carved Steakhouse 1094 River Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic restaurant and event waiters to join our team in providing exceptional dining and catered experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. We’re looking for friendly, outgoing people to help serve food and drinks at catered events! As a Catering Server, your main job is to make sure guests are happy and well-fed while keeping things running smoothly.

What You’ll Do :

Serve food and beverages to guests with a smile. Answer any questions about the menu and accommodate special requests when possible. Refill drinks, clear plates, and keep the dining area tidy. Be helpful and polite to guests, making their experience enjoyable. Work as a team with other servers and the kitchen staff to keep things organized. A positive attitude and great people skills—making guests feel welcome is key! Experience in food service is great, but we’re happy to train the right person. Comfortable working on your feet and carrying trays or plates. Reliable, flexible, and ready to work evenings or weekends when needed. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using OpenTable or similar systems. Provide detailed information about menu items, including food preparation methods and ingredients. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling and safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow and communication. Uphold fine dining standards while providing attentive service to enhance the guest experience.
