through late August Responsibilities of the position include: Working on the kitchen team to serve food and oversee a sandwich bar station at lunch and dinner in a dining hall that serves 200 people. Cutting a prepping food for the sandwich bar. Properly storing food and cleaning sandwich bar station. Working with the Head Chef on specialty meals and out-of-Dining-Hall food service including but not limited to lunches for off-sites/ tournaments; BBQ cookouts; Overnights. Participating in regular meetings and feedback with Kitchen Staff to ensure a cohesive team and positive work environment.
About Camp Scatico:
A 7-week residential summer camp in the Upper Hudson Valley for campers aged 8 through 15. Scatico provides an overnight camp experience that is values-based, community-oriented, and filled with camp spirit.
Hours:
Roughly 8 hours/ day; 6 days / week. Typical shift is 11 AM – 7PM.
