Ice Cream Server/Cashier Scarlets Ice Cream / Sully’s Harbor Bar 329 Erie St, Buffalo, NY 14202 Job Summary We are looking for two people with Ice Cream / Sundae stand experience, however we will train the right person. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, making Sundaes and cones, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Process cash and credit card transactions with precision. Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and promotions to effectively upsell products. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area and cashier station. Assist in food preparation as needed in accordance with culinary standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while maintaining quality service. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to upsell menu items and promote specials confidently. Good communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members. Basic culinary knowledge is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
