South Indian Smart Casual Dining | Midtown Manhattan Chatti, the celebrated South Indian cuisine restaurant by renowned Indian celebrity chef Regi Mathew, is expanding its leadership team! We are currently looking for Experienced Head Runners who can take charge on the floor with confidence and excellence. As a Head Runner, you will play a key role in expediting food, coordinating service flow, and ensuring every guest receives flawless, attentive service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and organize the service team during busy shifts. Ensure each dish is expedited to perfection with attention to presentation and timing. Oversee and assist with table maintenance, guest needs, and service flow. Work closely with kitchen, management, and front-of-house staff to deliver seamless guest experiences. Maintain the highest standards of detail, professionalism, and hospitality.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a head runner, floor captain, or expeditor in a high-end or upscale dining environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Absolute attention to detail and a passion for guest satisfaction. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining grace and efficiency. Knowledge or passion for Indian cuisine is a plus.
