TRADE SHOW PREP COOKS, SERVERS & DEMONSTRATOR STAFF

(Midtown West)  compensation: Starting at $25/hour depending on experience and position (i.e., Demonstrator, Prep Cook, etc.) We are currently looking for qualified foodservice staff for the 2025 Summer International Fancy Food Show Event!

is currently hiring experienced prep cooks, chefs, hostess, servers and trade show staff for the Summer Fancy Food Show, which is taking place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, from June 29

  • July 1, 2025 (SUN-TUES) For over 30 years, FOODTEMPS has been the Official Contractor for the International Summer Fancy Food Show.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable people with strong retail, sales, marketing, food service, catering, fine dining and trade show experience. If you have Barista skills or speak Portuguese please include in your email!

QUALIFICATIONS

You must be professional, enthusiastic, outgoing, reliable, and energetic, with strong communication skills. You must have reliable transportation to the convention center.

EXPERIENCE

2-3 years of experience working trade show, retail, sales, marketing, catering, food service or fine dining experience is necessary. Chef and Prep Cook Staff need 2-3 years of commercial work experience in the food service industry. Knowledge of the specialty food or natural products industry is helpful!

ATTIRE:

Wait staff attire—black formal pants or skirt, black dress shirt and black shoes. Chef’s uniform—white or black jacket, black chef’s pants, and own set of knives.

COMPENSATION

Starting at $25/hour depending on experience and position (i.e., Demonstrator, Prep Cook, etc.)
