Server/Waiter San Miguel Mexican Bar and Grill 2 Oswego Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server to join our team at San Miguel. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bi-lingual is a huge plus but not mandatory

Duties:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
• Process payments using cash handling procedures and POS system
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting is preferred
• Strong math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
