As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system. Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments using the cash register and ensure accurate billing. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating effectively. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Strong guest service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of kitchen workflow and bussing duties, is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
