ITALIAN ART MUSEUM

is looking for a Part Time Busser/Server to work in Cafe Silvia, located within the museum in Cold Spring, NY.

Main Responsibilities include:

Clean cafe areas: buss tables, mop floors and wash some dishes and utensils. o Ensure the dining room is perfect always by clearing and resetting tables after guests leave Deliver food and beverage to customers Help provide refills on water as needed and removing used tableware between courses. Ensure spills are cleaned up quickly with as little disturbance to the guest as possible. Ensure health, safety, security, and sanitation standards meet company guidelines; Receive food and supplies; Respond sincerely and appropriately to guest requests & concerns, and communicate to appropriate staff as necessary. Thank guests when leaving and inquire about their experience.

Additional responsibilities include:

Exhibit respectful, courteous, and friendly communication with guests at all times Ensure familiarity with daily menu to answer guest questions Assist in managing daily inventory and restocking supplies in café back-of-house Act as cashier when needed Check floor/restrooms and clean as needed Gain knowledge of the museum to provide accurate information to guests.
