Banquet Server NanaHouse Productions LLC Jamaica, NY 11412 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team for our film premiere event. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience during events and functions. Your primary responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, assisting with event setup, and providing outstanding customer service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry. Duties Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner. Assist with the preparation of food service areas before events begin. Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout the event. Provide excellent guest services by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of meals. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in the breakdown of banquet setups after events, ensuring all items are cleaned and stored properly. Qualifications Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Experience in the hotel or culinary industry is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
