Server Il Bacco Restaurant Little Neck, NY 11362 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Sanitate tables, utensils, and other dining equipment to adhere to health standards. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required. Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Experience with culinary practices is a plus. Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently during busy service periods. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
