Server/Waiter Dolcetto Kosher 800 Chestnut Ridge Road, Spring Valley, NY 10977 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and seasoned Server to join our dynamic team in an upscale fine dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. Responsibilities Present daily specials, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences. Accurately input orders into the POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, refilling drinks, and addressing any needs promptly. Maintain knowledge of seasonal menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer questions effectively. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and cleanliness throughout the dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in the food service industry is REQUIRED, particularly in fine dining. Familiarity with a POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the restaurant environment is essential. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
