Server/Counter Help Comfort Kitchen 454 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Counter Help. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized counter area. Your ability to handle cash transactions accurately and engage customers through upselling will contribute significantly to the overall experience we offer. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Handle cash transactions using a cash register, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Sanitate work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly to comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in stocking inventory and keeping the counter area well-organized. Provide support during busy periods to ensure smooth operations in the café or restaurant environment. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or grocery store setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
