Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Enter orders into the POS system (Point of Sale)
• Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
• Upsell menu items and promote specials
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Process payments and handle cash transactions

Experience:

• Previous experience as a server or in a similar role preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus
• Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items for effective communication with guests
• Ability to upsell and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
• Understanding of food service regulations and health codes
• Strong interpersonal skills for building positive guest relations
