Server VESPA Italian Kitchen & Cocktails 3 Hawkins Ave, Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the restaurant’s order management system, such as OpenTable. Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner while adhering to proper sanitation practices. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces between guests. Assist with menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials. Process payments efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale systems. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any guest concerns promptly. Uphold high standards of guest relations by providing attentive service and addressing any issues that arise during the dining experience. Experience At least 1 year of serving experience required Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
