Server Scotto LLC 569 Broadhollow Road, Melville, NY 11747 HIGH
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY
We are looking for individuals who are looking to be leaders and innovators in the culinary world to drive our business forward. This position directly reports to the General and Assistant Managers. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Create an exceptional environment for all guests to dine in. Utilize your personality to befriend each guest. Recommend food and beverage to all guests and help to procure an order. Memorize and describe 10 – 12 chef specials tableside. Must have a thorough knowledge of the menu, and wine selections with the ability to make suggestions. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Be a team player
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience reciting and selling chef’s specials. Prior Steakhouse experience a plus A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff. Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised. Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system. High school diploma. Current hiring needs are for weekends. This could turn into full time for the right person.
