Food Runner/Busser The Swan Country Club 1754 Old Kings Highway, Saugerties, NY 12477 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers/bartenders by providing timely support during busy service periods, including clearing bar/tables. Ensuring all service areas are clean, stocked, and ready for peak times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines while transporting food items. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
