Job Description
Bakery / Cafe Server 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars 2 Depot Plz, Tarrytown, NY 10591 The Bakehouse of Tarrytown is a retail bakery/cafe producing everything in-house, from scratch, and on demand using only quality ingredients
POSITION
This is NOT a summer job! We are seeking a permanent / very dependable
OVER THE COUNTER SERVER
- barista experience a must
- shift supervision and/or managerial experience a huge plus
COMPENSATION
$16.50 per hour + tips = (may add up to $22-$25/hour depending on several variables)
SCHEDULE
Tuesday through Saturday from 12 noon to close (approximately 6:30pm) (you must be available to work all 5 days without exception)
LOCATION 2
Depot Plaza, Tarrytown, NY 10591 (inside the Tarrytown train station)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage guests and multi-task all facets of a front-of-the-house service
- Barista duties
- Possible shift supervision and closing duties depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality Hardworking (with a sense of urgency), dependable and accountable Hands-on / lead-by-example attitude Ability to cultivate a FOH “service the customer” and “customer first” attitude Strong organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively Focused attention to detail

Available shifts and compensation:
Available shifts all days except Sundays and Mondays. Compensation is $15.00 – $16.00/hour.
