Bus Boy/Food Runner Red Plum Restaurant 251 Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. Your responsibilities will include assisting servers, clearing tables, and supporting the overall operations of the food service area. Responsibilities Assist servers by promptly clearing and resetting tables after guests have finished their meals. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing utensils and condiments. Help with food handling tasks such as delivering food from the kitchen to the dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Support catering events by preparing dining areas and assisting with setup and breakdown as needed. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs and responding to requests promptly. Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in relation to food handling and cleanliness. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. Knowledge of basic food handling practices is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
