Server/Waiter 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 14 Marble Avenue, Thornwood, NY 10594 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. If you have a passion for food and hospitality, we would love to hear from you! Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and culinary techniques to enhance guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for processing payments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Team-oriented mindset with the willingness to help colleagues as needed. Knowledge of culinary terms and food safety practices is a plus. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required by the role.
