Food Runner/Busser Plum Point Lodge 3482 N Plum Point Rd, Himrod, NY 14842 Job Overview A Food Runner for Sapalta at Plum Point Lodge plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional lakeside dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and refilling drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns regarding food quality or presentation. Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Assist in food preparation when necessary, including basic cooking tasks or banquet setup as needed. system when needed for ticket tracking and communication with the kitchen. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates. Familiarity with bussing techniques and food safety practices is a plus. Experience in hotels, restaurants or banquet settings is advantageous. Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques will be beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Position is minimum wage plus tips. Ability to work Thursday, Friday & Saturday dinner shift is ideal.
