As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable. Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and dietary options. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal. Handle cash and process payments accurately while adhering to food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns. Assist in training new staff members on service protocols and menu knowledge. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables and ensure prompt service during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or as a server is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub or restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen operations is beneficial for effective communication with culinary staff. A positive attitude with strong sales skills to enhance the guest experience through upselling menu items. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
