Server Thai Station Cafe 128 North Carll Avenue, Babylon, NY 11702 Job Summary We are seeking a efficient and dedidcated Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our patrons. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your ability to engage with guests and deliver high-quality service will be key to your success in this role. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options. Take accurate orders using basic math skills to ensure correct billing. Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food handling and safety standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a cash register or Aloha POS system. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Requirements Previous experience in food service or guest relations is preferred but not required. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate billing. Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is a plus. Familiarity with cash handling processes and experience using cash registers or Lavu POS systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as necessary. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
