As a Beverage Server, you will be responsible for serving drinks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all patrons have an enjoyable experience. Your role will involve working closely with other staff members to maintain high standards of food safety and service. Responsibilities Serve beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring satisfaction with each order. Maintain knowledge of the beverage menu, including specialty drinks, wines, and cocktails. Assist with banquet and catering events by setting up beverage stations and serving drinks as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate drink orders with food service. Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when processing payments for drinks served. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in restaurant or banquet settings. Knowledge of bartending techniques and cocktail preparation is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations related to beverage service. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members alike. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
