The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong background in food service. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system, such as OpenTable. Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining area. Process cash register transactions efficiently, handling payments accurately with basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively upsell and drive sales. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety standards is a plus. Experience with sales techniques to enhance customer engagement is beneficial. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
