Food Runner Flatbread Bar and Grill Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist in setting up banquet tables and ensuring that all food service areas are well-stocked and organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests. Buss tables promptly after guests have finished their meals to maintain a clean dining environment. Support the culinary team by helping with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all food handling practices meet safety standards. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and ingredients to effectively communicate with guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, including cooks and fellow staff members.
