PURPOSE:

As a Host/Hostess/Food Runner, you will create a welcoming environment for our members and guests. This role involves managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, processing payments, and efficiently delivering food to tables.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and assist with reservations for club functions. Greet guests promptly and seat them, managing waitlists as needed. Process payments accurately and promote teamwork with other departments. Handle take-out orders and answer phone inquiries. Clear and reset tables, assist with opening tasks, and maintain dining area cleanliness. Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any order discrepancies. Address guest complaints and special requests efficiently. Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and club operations, and secure the clubhouse at the end of shifts. Attend all Service Training Meetings and support team members as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our community thrives during these times. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform various physical tasks. Must have good vision and clear communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a fine dining setting is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance are essential.
