Duties Responsible to monitor and maintain the hot and cold bars by maintaining quality standards, sanitation, and food safety. Serves guests with a professional, friendly, and positive attitude and puts guest requests above other duties. Greet guests and answer any questions they may have about the menu or hot bar options. Set up and maintain hot bar steam well tables with necessary utensils, containers, and napkins. Ensure that food and beverage stations are clean and well-stocked. Organizes and maintains cleanliness of workstation. Monitor the quality and freshness of food items and rotate them as needed. Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Assist with other duties as assigned by management. Take orders and make recommendations. Replenish items as needed and communicate effectively with the host/member, back of house, and management. Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. Reports any rule infraction to supervisor. Maintains a clean and presentable appearance as per our uniform policy. 2. Team & Customer Service Expectations Communicates effectively and courteously with guests, and co-workers. Communicates food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies) Performs calmly and effectively under stressful conditions. Promotes an atmosphere of teamwork by assisting co-workers. Dresses in the team uniform and maintains the uniform. 3. Any other general tasks & responsibilities.
