This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, with the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables and service stations. Assist in food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly. Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry and payment processing. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar cash register systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
