Server Mi Tierra Caliente Restaurant 102 South Cedar Street, Summerville, SC 29483 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences by efficiently taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor. Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation standards. Handle cash transactions, including cash register operations and credit card processing. Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems as needed. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
