We are in our busy season and our patio is open, and we are fully booked almost every night of the week. We are open for dinner service Tuesday – Sunday, serving from 4:00pm-9:00pm. We love our location on James Island and serve a large amount of regular guests, as well as out of town guests from Folly Beach and the Charleston area. The ideal FOH candidate will demonstrate full knowledge of the Edison dinner menu, ingredients and preparation of each dish after training, and will be able to successfully complete a menu test. Ability to assist guests in all aspects of table service, answering questions regarding menu, dietary restrictions and modifications. Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude, with the ability to multi-task and work as a team player with our FOH team. Beer and wine knowledge is essential in this position, in order to make pairing recommendations and answer guest questions. At least two years FOH experience and open availability strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner. Be familiar with the menu items to answer questions about recommended food pairings or comparable menu items. Take orders from guests and ring in to our point of sale system correctly, including coursing and all modifications. Follow all laws regarding alcohol sales including checking IDs for proof of age. Take payment using our point-of-sale system after check has been dropped, and accurately manage shift close-out with other FOH employees. We are interviewing this week for both full and part time positions. Priority will be given to candidates with open availability and those who are available for immediate start.
