TWO BIT CLUB

In the 1730’s, what is now known as the SC Society was founded by a French Huguenot named Elisha Poinsett. In a commitment to help others, members decided to contribute two bits (sixteen pence) a week to help those in need. From there, the “Two-Bit Society” was born. Inspired by their story, Two Bit Club embraces that spirit of serving others and creating a community centered around Vietnamese flavors (with a few nods to French techniques), generous hospitality and vibrant conversations.

THE ROLE

In the world of foodie’s – you utterly enjoy studying and offering a mouthwatering detailed explanation of each dish. As a Server, you strive to make each interaction an unforgettable one, having your guests’ running back for more. What we will ask of you: Welcome, greet, and monitor guests dining experience to ensure all are satisfied with food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to any requests Always remain educated on our menu offerings and answer questions about our food, beverages, dietary restrictions and other restaurant functions and services Perform side work for each shift as required and maintain service areas throughout shift Prepare and present final bill, process payment, and report all gratuities received to comply with the IRS standards of reporting income

Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player Be 18 years of age or older and at least one year of prior restaurant or relevant experience Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
