As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals and drinks. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system for order entry. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed dining choices. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create memorable experiences for patrons. Knowledge of culinary terms and menu items is advantageous. Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during peak hours. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest services is essential.
