Waiter/Server Eats and Sweets Ridgeland, SC 29936 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for delivering an outstanding dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system and relay them to the kitchen staff. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards. Assist guests with menu selections, answering any questions regarding ingredients, preparation methods, and specials. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash register operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies to maintain a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or issues promptly. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required. Strong culinary knowledge is a plus, particularly regarding food safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience with cash handling and familiarity with cash register operations is beneficial. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to helping guests and addressing their needs efficiently.
