The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a willingness to learn about food safety and preparation. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work efficiently in a kitchen setting, and a knack for upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to learn about food preparation techniques and café operations. Team player with good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with others in the kitchen and dining area.
