In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting customers with their inquiries, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling when appropriate. Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and dining space. Support food preparation as needed, adhering to health and safety standards. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service. Utilize OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings effectively. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is preferred. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of fine dining practices and hospitality standards is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant operations is advantageous. Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
