Forest Lake Club is seeking flexible, service-driven individuals to join our Food & Beverage Team as Cross-Trained Servers. In this versatile role, you’ll be trained across all dining service areas. What You’ll Do:
Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to members and guests Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver with attention to detail Rotate between service areas and adapt to different dining styles and setups Assist with event setup and breakdown (including furniture movement and staging) Maintain cleanliness of all service areas and follow safety and hygiene procedures Operate the POS system, process payments, and complete shift closeout duties Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, and managers
Qualifications, Education, & Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility successfully. This person must present a neat appearance and have a warm, cheerful personality. Tact and good judgment are especially beneficial characteristics. This person must also possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to carry out the job responsibilities. High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ years wait staff experience preferred Basic math skills Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to thrive in an active, noisy, and demanding environment Interest in shift work Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees and guests in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for several hours at a time. Capability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and equipment weighing up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to carry and balance heavy trays with food or beverages. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to climb stairs or maneuver in tight spaces when necessary. Requires fine motor skills to handle table settings, glassware, and serving utensils. Ability to push, pull, or move carts and other banquet equipment. Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including warm kitchen areas and cooler event spaces
