The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that every dining experience is enjoyable and memorable, while effectively managing food and beverage orders. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Heartland POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any needs or concerns. Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and processing credit card payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and serving equipment. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food handling standards. Uphold high standards of hospitality in all interactions with guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Must possess a positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others enjoy their dining experience. Must have weekend availability.
