You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, taking orders, and ensuring that all food and beverage needs are met promptly and efficiently. Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the restaurant’s point-of-sale system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance guest experience through upselling. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to restaurant policies. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is a plus. Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. A passion for providing outstanding hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
